Shalom Bible College in Assam, India has over 60 students pursuing diplomas, degrees and post-graduate qualifications. They have a library with 5,000 books but they need at least 10,000. Increasing their number of physical books is required to maintain an international accreditation.
Over the next three years, this project seeks to raise $11,000 a year, totalling $33,000 by mid-2026, to reach the goal of 10,000 books purchased and catalogued in the college’s library. Shalom Bible College will purchase the books as funds come in and when the target is reached, they will be fulfilling their accreditation requirement. The cost reflects the need to order physical books, many from outside India.
