Born in Hong Kong, Daniel brings many years of research experience and teaching across several scientific and medical fields including pathology and immunology. Daniel earned PhDs from Birmingham (UK) and Sydney University (AU) alongside his expertise in Indigenous Medicines. In 2020 he began theological training at Morling College as he discerned God’s prompting toward Gospel ministry among Indigenous Australians.
Daniel has a passion for holistic ministry, serving the spiritual, physical and educational needs of Indigenous families and individuals, beginning in urban settings.
Further to this, Daniel also has a passion to share First Nations ministry among Baptist churches, especially those from diverse ethnic backgrounds, with the hope of mobilising these communities as powerful witnesses of God’s grace.
Daniel is looking to build a team of committed prayer and financial partners as he explores new modes of ministry among members of the world’s oldest continuous culture, including church planting, education and capacity building with current Aboriginal Christian leaders in NSW.
