Team – Travel

Ministry in South Asia

Project code:
SAsy102
Project goal:
(tax deductible)

Baptist Mission Australia has a long, rich history of partnership with a like-minded NGO.

This project covers the travel expenses of several partner team members who travel regularly to South Asia, coming alongside B people to continue life-changing development work.

Each trip costs up to $4,400 and covers airfares, transport, visas, accommodation and in-country resource expenses. It is a tangible way to support the team who bring a range of skills in social enterprise, community development, maternal child health, agriculture, business development and further practical and operational expertise.

Team members involved in this project include Fiona, Lisa, Morris, Graeme, John D and Roger W.

Through their day-to-day life, Jean-Claude and Joyce are engaging with people wholistically, responding to their spiritual and physical needs.

It is Jan and Jit’s desire to see each person develop as an individual,
learn new skills and move towards their potential for interdependent
and independent living.

Through this work they seek to partner with churches to see the
Christian community develop a sense of responsibility towards those
in need in their communities.

This project covers the costs of running disability group activities
in rural areas, the purchase of specialised equipment to improve
quality of life and provide the needs of the team travelling and
empowering people with disabilities in this Thai/Myanmar border
area.

By making regular visits to South Asia possible for these team members, you are actively supporting extensive B communities in sustainable and contagious growth.
